
Our starting five was Weiler-Babb, Loyd, Cordinier, Ercan and Dessert and our first basket of the game came from Dessert. Following a basket by Weiler-Babb, points from Dessert and Ercan gave us a 16-11 lead at fifth minute. After Jones’ spectacular dunk, Ercan added four more points and we entered the ninth minute ahead 23-17. A layup by Weiler-Babb on the final possession of the quarter set the score after the first 10 minutes at 25-20. We opened the second quarter with baskets from Cordinier and Smits, extending the lead to 10 points at the 11th minute: 30-20. Points from Erkan and Şehmus helped us maintain a 38-25 advantage by the 15th minute. With two free throws from Loyd and four from Cordinier, we went into the final minute of the first half leading 43-31. Şehmus then added two more free throws and we finished the first half ahead 45-34.
We began the second half with points from Dessert and Cordinier, making it 51-38 in the 21st minute. After David Mutaf’s three-pointer, we scored with Swider and Dessert to bring the score to 62-49 by the 25th minute. In the second five minutes of the third quarter, we continued to score through Cordinier, Dessert and Şehmus and went into the final 10 minutes leading 70-62. Our first basket of the final period came from Dessert, making it 72-65 at 32:30. Following points from Loyd and Şehmus, we extended the lead to 78-65 by the 35th minute. After Ercan’s five-point contribution, Şehmus’ layup gave us an 85-71 advantage with two minutes remaining. In the final two minutes, we went on adding points through Dessert, Şehmus and Erkan and secured a 92-84 win.
