
Our starting five was Beaubois, Weiler-Babb, Cordinier, Swider and Poirier. Our first points of the game came from Poirier, giving us a 4-2 lead in the third minute. After Beaubois scored consecutive baskets, we extended our lead to 12-7 by the fifth minute. We went scoreless over the next three minutes, but baskets from Beaubois, Şehmus and Smits in the final two minutes of the quarter helped us finish the opening 10 minutes ahead 20-17. We opened the second period with a basket by Cordinier in the paint, making it 22-19 at 11:30. With points from Erkan and Ercan, we made it 28-27 in the 15th minute. Following five points from Smits, layups by Cordinier and Weiler-Babb allowed us to close the first half with a 37-30 lead.
Our first point of the second half came at the free-throw line from Beaubois to make it 38-30. With baskets from the Poirier-Cordinier duo, we led 47-38 in the 25th minute. Swider scored his first points of the game during this part and after five points from Weiler-Babb, we entered the final 10 minutes with a 57-52 advantage. We opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer by Weiler-Babb to make it 60-54 in the 31st minute. After the score turned to 60-62 in the 33rd minute, Cordinier knocked down two free throws to tie the game at 62-62. A three-pointer by Smits in the 35th minute made it 65-67. Two free throws by Loyd tied the score once again at 67-67 in the 36th minute. With points from Ercan and Loyd, the 37th minute was played at a 71-72 scoreline, but after Poirier made one free throw, we entered the final minute trailing by two points, 72-74. Although we scored three points with Ercan and one with Loyd in the final minute, we were unable to take the lead and ultimately lost the game 80-76.
