While Micic, Beaubois, Elijah, M'Baye, and Pleiss were our starting five, our team started the game with a 6-6 score in the first five minutes with the points of Pleiss and Beaubois duo. With M'Baye's three-pointer, we took the lead in the sixth minute for the first time: 9-8. We scored four points with Clyburn in the remaining four minutes and were down 13-16 in the first 10 minutes of the game. Our first hit in the second quarter came from Beaubois in the 11th minute: 15-18. After five points from Larkin in the next two minutes, the score was tied and the home team's time-out came: 20-20. We took the lead in the 16th minute with the points of Micic and Beaubois on the return from the time-out: 25-24. We scored two points with Clyburn and three points with Micic in the remainder and finished the first half of the game behind 30-31.

Our first points in the second half came from Pleiss, and we were ahead 34-33 in the 22nd minute. After Micic's layup, Pleiss hit another under-the-rim, leading the score to 38-38 at 23:30. After M'Baye and Clyburn's points, we made the score 45-42 in the 25th minute. While Micic and Larkin were scoring points in this section, we were ahead 56-52 in the last 10 minutes of the game after Clyburn's slam dunk and Larkin's one-hit free throw in the last minute of the quarter. We started the final period with Clyburn's lay-up: 58-52. After Pleiss and Dunston's points, the 35th minute was entered with a score of 62-64. We were struggling to score in this section, and after three minutes of silence Larkin hit the foul line twice and the score was 64-75 in the 38th minute. Even though we scored points with Micic and Larkin in the remaining part, we couldn't close the gap and we were defeated 71-81.
