We started the game with a lineup of Thompson, Beaubois, Johnson, Ercan, and Poirier. Thompson’s five points in the opening minute gave us a 5-2 lead. With strong defense that denied our opponents easy scoring opportunities, Johnson, Poirier, and Ercan’s points helped us maintain a 13-4 lead by the sixth minute. Poirier and Ercan each added a basket, extending the lead to 17-4 by the 7:30 mark. Smits contributed with an impressive dunk to add two more points, and we ended the first 10 minutes with a 19-6 lead.

The second quarter started with Beaubois scoring a layup, restoring a 15-point lead at 21-6. Oturu scored under the basket, while Elijah and Smits each hit two free throws, pushing the score to 27-10 by the 12:30 mark. Oturu and Elijah continued scoring, leading us to a 35-16 advantage by the 15th minute. Contributions from Nwora and Smits extended the lead to 27 points at 45-18 by the 18th minute. Nwora added another basket in the final minute of the half, and we headed to the locker room with a 47-25 lead.

The second half began with Poirier and Thompson scoring, extending the lead to 51-27 by the 22nd minute. Johnson added a free throw to make it 52 points, but the score narrowed to 52-36 by the 24:30 mark, prompting Coach Mijatovic to call a timeout. After the timeout, Poirier and Nwora scored again, and despite struggling to find points in this quarter, we entered the final 10 minutes with a 58-49 lead.

In the fourth quarter, the score tightened to 58-54 in the first 1:30 minutes, leading Coach Mijatovic to call another timeout. Elijah’s mid-range jumper in the 33rd minute extended the lead to 60-54. Beaubois hit two three-pointers and Willis added another, putting us ahead 69-62 with 2:30 left in the game. Beaubois hit one free throw to make it 70-62 by the 39th minute. Unfortunately, Beaubois sustained an injury during a defensive play and had to leave the court. In the final moments, Elijah, Thompson, and Nwora capitalized on tactical fouls, securing our 74-64 victory.
