Defeated by Lithuania’s Zalgiris Kaunas team 91-83 in the ninth-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague game, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:
“I congratulate Zalgiris Kaunas. They deserved the victory today. In the first half, the difference was offensive rebounding. In the second half, we tried to adjust to that problem, they played really good and in the crucial moments when we came close, they always found the way to score, in last seconds or from pick-and-pop situations. We were close, but could not get in front.”
