“First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for gathering with the valuable members of the press. We have been maintaining our pre-season training for the last six weeks. We spent the first week of our pre-season at our Merter Facilities. Next, we resumed our preparations with our first team players along with our young prospects at the 17-day training camp at Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. During the training camp, we worked without Doğuş and Krstic, who were out due to injury, along with other players who were playing for their national teams. The most positive aspect of the Slovenia training camp was that our young prospects who trained with the first team players gained experience, constituting the first steps for the optimal team chemistry. We played four pre-season matches during the training camp. After the training camp, we came back to Istanbul and maintained our efforts at full speed as our players returning from their national teams also joined the team. We will make a fairly early start to the season due to the Presidential Cup game on October 7th. After the Presidential Cup, the Turkish League games will be underway. As I mentioned earlier, the Turkish Basketball Super League is undoubtedly one of the strongest and most challenging leagues in Europe. Soon after that, we will step into the Euroleague away at Limoges. Together with the Presidential Cup, we will play in four competitions. And we aim for the top in all four of these competitions...”
