Anadolu Efes, which touches every segment of society and leaves a mark on their lives with projects implemented every year, hosted children participating in the One Team program, the corporate social responsibility project of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, at the EA7 Armani Milan match.
The participating children shared in the excitement of the match...
Throughout the eight-week project, where basketball was used as a metaphor, children participating in the project engaged in activities ranging from problem-solving to time management. In addition to the participating children, representatives from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Community Centers, and Sport Istanbul, this year's stakeholders of the project, also experienced the excitement of the match on site.
Twenty children aged 8-15 from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cibali and Sulukule Community Centers took their places in the stands at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall for the Anadolu Efes - EA7 Armani Milan match. The unforgettable night began with a short tour of the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. After the tour, the children stepped onto the court, accompanying the players' entrance, and took a photo with Anadolu Efes's One Team ambassadors Erten Gazi and Justus Hollatz, and EA7 Armani Milan's One Team Ambassador Kyle Hines. The match ball was placed on the pedestal by one of the participating children.
They had fun and competed on the court...
During the halftime of the match, the children, who had learned the basic skills of basketball over eight weeks, took their first step onto the court. Divided into two different teams, the children showcased their skills, which they had honed over eight weeks, amidst the cheers of thousands of people filling the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, accompanied by Anadolu Efes's beloved mascot, "Çaylak".
