The previous record was shared by Theodoros Papaloukas from Olympaicos who recorded 13 assists against Real Madrid in the 2008-09 season, and by Elmer Bennett from Tau Ceramica, who recorded 13 assists against AEK in the 2000-01 season.
The highest number of assists in a match in all stages of the Euroleague is 17. Marcus Williams from KK Crvena Zvezda recorded 17 assists against Galatasaray in the first round of this season.
