We hosted Fenerbahçe Beko in the 28th-week match of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and won the match 84-79. We were ahead 41-25 in the first half of the game, which was played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
As our team started with Larkin, Micic, Elijah, Moerman, and Pleiss five, our first points came from Micic, leading 4-2 in the second minute. With three-pointers from Elijah and Moerman following Pleiss's basket, we made the score 12-4 at 3:30. With points from Micic and Elijah, we were leading 16-7 in the television time-out in the fifth minute. With a three-pointer from Larkin after the time-out, we increased the lead to double digits in the sixth minute: 19-7. After the hits from Micic and Dunston in the last minute of the quarter, we were ahead 23-14 in the first 10 minutes of the fight. We started the second period with Elijah's three-pointer and made it 26-14 in the 11th minute. After Dunston and Beaubois' points, we increased the lead to 18 points at 14:30 with two 3-pointers from Micic: 36-18. After Anderson's under-the-rim hit, Micic hit one and Larkin two from the foul line, and we were ahead 41-25 in the first half of the game.
We started the second half with our starting five and our first points came from Micic behind the three-point line: 44-25. After Larkin's layup, Micic scored three more points and the score was 49-27 at 22:30. The score was 53-37 in the 25th minute with four points from Pleiss, and we were ahead 57-39 in the 27th minute with Micic's layup and Dunston's stylish dunk. We scored two points with Beaubois in the remaining time of the quarter and we were leading 59-48 in the last 10 minutes of the game. We started the final period with Beaubois's three-pointer and Dunston's under-the-rim shot, leading 64-48 into the 31st minute. While our 66th point came from Micic, coach Ergin Ataman took a time-out when the score was 66-61 at 33:30. On the return from the time-out, the score was 72-67 in the 36th minute with a two-point field goal from Beaubois. This time, Beaubois, who came to the foul line in the 37th minute, brought the score to 74-71 with two successful free throws. Beaubois scored another three-pointer in the last 1:40 minutes of the game, making the score 77-73. With Larkin's three-pointer, we brought the score to 80-75 in the last 30 seconds of the game. In the remaining time, we scored two more baskets with Beaubois and Moerman and we won the match 84-79.
