Following Anadolu Efes's 98-74 victory over Spain's FC Barcelona in the 22nd week of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, head coach Erdem Can shared his post-match thoughts:
"First of all, I want to congratulate my players. The effort they put on the court throughout the game was incredible. Looking back at the match, the beginning of the second quarter was bad for us. We conceded 18 points in the first 5 minutes. Throughout the game, that was the only time we gave our opponent an opening in defense. Afterward, we were good both defensively and, more importantly, offensively. We shared the ball and the space well. The mentality of our players brought this result, but at the end of the day, it's just one match we've won. We know that all the upcoming games are like finals for us. We need to approach all matches in this way. It's more important to understand how we'll react on the court and to have a good grasp of who we are, rather than who our opponent is. I hope we show the same character and fight in future matches and can reach where we want to be."
