Preparing to play against the Croatian side Cedevita Zagreb on Thursday, January 21st on the road at the fourth week match of Euroleague Top 16 Group E, Anadolu Efes Coach Dusan Ivkovic commented on the upcoming match:
After playing in the same group in the first round of Euroleague, we will be playing against Cedevita Zagreb on the road at the fourth week match of Top 16. We have to keep in mind that every match is different. Both teams are in a much different shape compared to the first round. I think it’s going to be an interesting, tough and closely-contested match...”
Anadolu Efes’s Derrick Brown also stated his thoughts: “We will play a tough match on the road at Zagreb. We have to keep the game under control in all quarters. We need to minimize our opponent’s points from fast breaks, and be very cautious on defense. Every match is different in the Euroleague. Therefore, we have to focus on winning at Zagreb without even thinking about our win on the road in the first round.”
