Defeating the Spanish side Laboral Kutxa 72-67 on the road at the first week match of Euroleague Top 16, Anadolu Efes Coach Dusan Ivkovic commented on the post-game press conference:
“We couldn’t start the game as we planned. We allowed easy transition points, and they had 41 points at the end of the first half. We did great defense in the second half, particularly in the final quarter, and allowed only nine points in the last 10 minutes. In my opinion, the key was our defense in the final quarter. We still have 13 matches ahead of us. As can be seen from today’s results, we have to proceed very carefully...”
