We signed a 1+1 year contract with American player Derek Willis. Born in 1995, the player is 2.06 meters tall and plays as a power forward.

Derek Willis, who graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017, signed his first professional contract with Grand Rapids Drive in the G-League. After a season spent here, he made his way to Germany's BG Goettingen team for his first abroad experience. Moving to another German team Ratiopharm Ulm after a season, Willis played for Italy's Brindisi in the 2020-21 season, Spain's Joventut Badalona in the 2021-22 season and Italy's Umana Reyer Venezia in the 2022-23 season. The successful player joined our team before the 2023-24 season.

Willis competed with Umana Reyer Venezia jersey in the Eurocup last season in 19 matches with 25:14 minutes, averaging 12.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

In the Italian League, the American player averaged 24.50 minutes in 34 games, averaging 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
