Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman, who defeated Italy's Virtus Segafredo Bologna team 85-80 on the road in the 10th-week match of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, shared his views at the press conference held after the match:
“We knew it would be a very difficult match. The fans create a nice atmosphere here. Virtus Segafredo Bologna is a team that has been playing basketball well lately. They lost their last game against Panathinaikos in Athens in overtime, but they played really good basketball. I believe we played the right basketball today. We took control in the first half of the game, but we couldn't make our own three-pointers. We found a single hit in 11 three-pointers in this section, and they were all accurate shots. We talked at halftime in the locker room that we should continue to share the ball, and in the second half, we found the three-pointers with M'Baye, Beaubois, and Clyburn. Micic made a lot of turnovers today and Virtus Segafredo may have had a small chance to return to Bologna, but we deserved to win the game with the basketball we played tonight.”
