Head coach Ergin Ataman of Anadolu Efes, which left Zalgiris Kaunas away with an 86-60 victory in the 12th week of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, shared his views after the game:
“We started the game very well. We scored 15 points in the first five minutes, and Zalgiris Kaunas' one-on-one defensive turn in the second quarter caused us problems. We were not well organized, we had too many turnovers and Zalgiris Kaunas came back to the game. We talked about it in the locker room at halftime. I think we defended well throughout the match, especially since we knew the importance of Keenan Evans in Zalgiris Kaunas’ offenses, we defended him well. We passed the ball well and shared it well. We found the empty shots and evaluated them. When our good defense combined with our offense, this different result emerged at the end of the match.”
