Anadolu Efes Sports Club is continuing the 2016-2017 season second Euroleague One Team project with Anadolu Etap's collaboration in Çanakkale and Balıkesir. Seasonal agricultural laborers’ MİÇOs those located in Anadolu Etap’s farms in these two cities will receive eight-week social development based education through basketball.
Anadolu Efes is matching basketball and education in the same platform through the Anadolu Etap collaboration for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague’s social responsibility program One Team.
Anadolu Efes has made the first One Team work for the Koruncuk Foundation Children with the Koruncuk Foundation collaboration and has contributed to children’s social development in the 2016-2017 season, and now Anadolu Efes is making the second project in Balıkesir-Tahirova and Çanakkale-Kumkale farms of Anadolu Etap.
MİÇOs will become skillful
The biggest fruit company Anadolu Etap with 7 farms created in 25 thousand decare area and with 3 million 500 thousand fruit trees, sees the seasonal agricultural laborers as guests and their children MİÇOs will participate in One Team works to gain more skills.
The target through the workshops make by Anadolu Efes Sports Club One Team coaches is to contribute MİÇOs’ social developments through basketball.
Children will be educated by basketball metaphors about focusing, fast and effective decision making, eye contact, and the importance of communication, self-ability development, sports culture, quick problem solving and being part of a team.
MİÇOs are hopeful about future…
Anadolu Etap, which has the title of being the first agricultural company to provide education to the guest seasonal agricultural labourers’ children, targeting MİÇOs to gain new experiences with Turkish, music, physical education, folk dancing, drawing, crafts and such activities and so them to continue their education and developments while they are being guests.
Anadolu Efes will finish the 2016-2017 One Team project for MİÇOs, though will continue to pioneer Turkish sport with the social responsibility projects in the 2017-2018 season.
