Within the Turkish Airlines Euroleague’s social responsibility program “One Team” Anadolu Efes Sports Club started the first project of 2016-2017 with the Koruncuk Foundation, that has been built for the children those need protection to be gained back by society.
Anadolu Efes Sports Club will educate 16 boys and girls for eight weeks through basketball and will teach developing skills, communication, sports knowledge and sports culture. Anadolu Efes’s Under 16 Team and One Team program coach Ozan Havuzlu and Koruncuk Foundation teachers’ lessons will go on for eight weeks. Anadolu Efes Captain and One Team Ambassador Doğuş Balbay will participate in One Team program as well.
Anadolu Efes, that pioneered Turkish sport since the day it was created through sportive successes and social responsibility projects, has started the first One Team project in the 2016-2017 season.
The lessons, that will be given to 11-14 aged 16 boys and girls will continue for eight weeks. Different awareness studies will be done every week during the lessons.
Presentation of basketball sport, creating team spirit, coordination, setting goals, imagination, the stance of a basketball player, decision making, problem-solving, and such titles will be taught to the children through fun workshops and games. Weekly reports of the lessons will help to observe the social development of the children.
Children those participate the One Team program will also have a chance to watch Anadolu Efes matches those will play in Abdi İpekçi Sports Arena in its place as well.
Captain Doğuş Balbay will participate in lessons as well…
The lessons, that will be made by the Anadolu Efes Sports Club Under 16 Team and One Team program coach Ozan Havuzlu and Koruncuk Foundation teachers and Anadolu Efes Sports Club Captain and One Team Ambassador Doğuş Balbay’s participation, will help the Koruncuk Foundation Children’s social developments.
