Stepping into his professional career with Bornova Belediye in 2009, Samet Geyik played at Tofaş in the 2014 - 2015 season. Signed by Darüşşafaka Doğuş in the beginning of the 2015 - 2016 season, the youngster signed a deal with Pınar Karşıyaka mid-season.

Winning the bronze medal with the Turkish national team in 2011 at the U18 Young Men’s European Championship, Samet was the highest scorer in the team with 9.9 points per game.

The young prospect had 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 09:24 minutes within 15 matches with Pınar Karşıyaka last season in Spor Toto Basketball League.
