Anadolu Efes has signed a deal with the American player Brandon Paul.
Born in 1991, he stands at 193 cm tall, and plays at shooting guard.
After finishing Warren Township High School, Paul graduated from the University of Illinois in 2013, and played for Minnesota Timberwolves in NBA Summer League the same year. Signed by the Russian side Nizhny Novgorod for the 2013-14 season, the American left the team in February and started playing for Canton Charge from the NBDL. Leaving Canton Charge in March 2014 due to his injury, the American re-signed with Canton Charge in November. After signing a deal with the Spanish side Joventut in the 2015-16 season, Brandon Paul was on the starting five in 25 of his 33 games there, becoming the highest scorer of his team with 13.2 points per game. Playing for Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers in 2016 NBA Summer League, Paul was signed by Philadelphia 76ers in July 25, 2016. Playing for them at four pre-season games, the player left the Philadelphian team.
Brandon Paul had 13.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23 minutes per game within 33 matches in the Spanish League.
Winning the “Mr. Illinois” award in 2009 for being the best performer in the State of Illinois that year, Brandon Paul was picked to the third team of the Big Ten Conference in 2012 and 2013.
Anadolu Efes’s deal with Brandon Paul will last until the end of this season.
