Our team started the game with Thompson, Elijah, Nwora, Ercan, and Poirier in the lineup. Early three-pointers from Thompson and Ercan brought us to a 6-3 lead by the second minute. Another three-pointer from Elijah, followed by a three-point play by Poirier and a dunk by Thompson, brought the score to 17-17 by the sixth minute. Beaubois and Smits added one three-pointer each, closing the first quarter with a 23-22 lead.

The second period began with a three-pointer from Nwora, bringing the score to 26-24 at 11:30. Smits scored consecutively, tying the game at 32-32 in the 16th minute. Contributions from Oturu and Elijah put us ahead, 38-34, going into the final minute of the half. A last-second three-pointer from Willis extended our lead to 41-36 at halftime.

The second half began with free throws by Poirier: 43-38. Points from Ercan and Beaubois brought the score to 51-46 in the 26th minute. Nwora’s five points forced the visiting team to take a timeout at 56-48 in the 28th minute. Returning from the timeout, a defensive rebound by Poirier turned into a basket by Ercan, increasing our lead to 10 points: 58-48 at the 29th minute. A free throw by Poirier ended the third quarter with us leading 59-52.

In the final quarter, we failed to score in the first 2:30 minutes, allowing Monaco to tie the game at 59-59 by 32:30. Poirier, re-entering the game, scored a free throw to regain a slim lead: 60-59. Beaubois added a free throw, followed by a mid-range jumper from Poirier, tying the game at 63-63 in the 35th minute. Despite points from Thompson and Poirier, our team entered the last 2:30 minutes trailing 72-67. Unable to close the gap, we added two more points from Beaubois before ultimately falling 81-69.
