After the finalized negotiations, Anadolu Efes has signed a two-year deal with the successful Croatian coach Velimir Perasovic.
After his career as a player, Perasovic began his coaching career at the Croatian side KK Split in the 2003-04 season. He then worked at the Spanish teams of Sevilla, Tau Ceramica and Estudiantes, at the Croatian side Cibona Zagreb, at Efes Pilsen, at the Spanish team Valencia, and last season, at Laboral Kutxa. He was the coach of the Croatian National Team last season.
Attaining the Eurocup title in the 2013-14 season with the Spanish side Valencia, Perasovic carried Laboral Kutxa to Final Four last season. Perasovic also won the Croatian title twice with Cibona Zagreb in the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons, Spanish Cup with Tau Ceramica in 2006, Croatian Cup with Cibona Zagreb in 2009, and Presidential Cup with Efes in 2010.
