Our starting five was Beaubois, Weiler-Babb, Cordinier, Swider and Poirier. Our first points came from Poirier and we took a 6-4 lead by the third minute. After a basket from Beaubois and a nine-point contribution from Swider, we led 17-15 in the seventh minute. In the remaining minutes of the quarter, we scored with Erkan, Şehmus and Ercan and finished the first 10 minutes trailing 24-23. We opened the second quarter with baskets by Weiler-Babb and Şehmus, making the score 28-26 in our favor in the 12th minute. Following points by Jones and Weiler-Babb, the 15th minute was played with the score tied at 32-32. During this part, both teams traded baskets and we responded to the opponent’s points with scores from Ercan, Poirier and Weiler-Babb, as the first half ended tied at 41-41.

We started the second half with inside baskets by Smits and Poirier and led 47-43 in the 22nd minute. After a three-pointer by Weiler-Babb and subsequent baskets from Cordinier and Poirier, we extended the lead to 54-46 in the 24th minute, prompting a timeout by the home team. After the timeout, our 55th point came from the free-throw line by Beaubois and with scores from Ercan and Cordinier, we entered the final 10 minutes leading 62-58. We opened the final quarter with a basket by Ercan and the 31st minute was played with a 64-58 advantage. With shots made by Şehmus and Beaubois, the score was 68-64 in the 35th minute. In the closing minutes, both teams continued to score and despite points from Cordinier, Poirier and Weiler-Babb, the regular time of the game ended in an 80-80 tie.

We began the overtime period with five points from Cordinier and the 42nd minute was played with the score tied at 85-85. After a three-pointer by Smits, Cordinier added four more points and the first overtime ended in a 92-92 draw.

In the second overtime, we scored two points each with Cordinier and Weiler-Babb and three points with Beaubois, but were unable to take the lead and ultimately lost the game 103-99.
