Hosted by Arel University Büyükçekmece Basketball team in the 7th-week match of Tahincioğlu Basketball Super League match, Anadolu Efes won the game with the score of 90-72. Anadolu Efes was ahead with the score of 44-36 at the halftime of the match that has been played at Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall.
Starting the match with Micic, Buğrahan, Anderson, Motum, and Dunston, Anadolu Efes’s first points were scored by Micic and Dunston duo and ws ahead 6-4 in the second minute. After Motum and Micic’s points, Dunston’s fancy dunk set the score tablet o 13-9 at the 5th minute. As our 15th minute was scored by Buğrahan, Anderson participated in scoring and our team was 19-14 ahead heading into the second quarter. Remaining duration Motum scored 4 points and our team finished the first half with the score 23-21. Starting the second quarter with Birkan’s layup, Anadolu Efes raised the score difference to 7 points with Beaubois’s three-pointer at the 13th minute and the rival team called a time-out: 28-21. Returning from the time-out Metecan’s three-pointer at the 15th minute set the score tablet o 31-25, then captain Doğuş and Sertaç’s points at the 17th minute brought the score to 36-27. Remaining duration Buğrahan and Anderson scored three points each and Beaubois scored two points and our team finished the first half 44-36 ahead.
Starting the second half with captain Doğuş’s point, Motum scored one point from the free-throw line and at the 21st minute our team brought the score to 47-38. After Beaubois’s 3 series of three-pointers raised the score difference to 15 points at the 23rd minute: 56-41. After Anderson, Motum and Metecan joined in the three-pointer rain, the score table was set to 73-50 at the last minute of the quarter. As the both teams couldn’t score in the last minute our team lead the score 73-50 heading into the last quarter. Starting the last quarter with Sertaç and Onuralp’s points, our team brought the score to 80-57 at the 33rd minute. After Sertaç’s series of 8 points at the 37th minute set the score table to 88-64, and with Anderson’s layup our team won the match with the score 90-72.
