Hosting the Fenerbahçe Beko team in the second Play-Off final match of ING Basketball Super League, Anadolu Efes won the game 95-73. Anadolu Efes was 41-37 ahead at the half-time of the match that was played in Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
After this result, we brought the situation to 2-0 in the series. The third reception of the series will be played on Monday, June 7 at Ülker Sports and Event Hall. If our team is victorious in this match, we will be the champion of the 2020-2021 season in the ING Basketball Super League.
Starting the match with Micic, Beaubois, Buğrahan, Moerman, and Sertaç, Anadolu Efes’s first points were scored by Sertaç. Beaubois and Buğrahan scored 5 points each and our team head into the television time-out 12-6 ahead. Returning from the time-out Sertaç and Beaubois continued to score, our team was 21-12 ahead at the 8th minute. Larkin scored 2 points from the free-throw line and set the score of the first quarter: 23-19. Starting the second quarter with Micic’s three-pointer, our team was 26-24 ahead at the 12th minute. Larkin and Singleton’s points followed by Dunston’s 1 point from the free-throw line, Anadolu Efes was 32-27 ahead at the 14th minute. Sertaç and Micic’s points set the score table to 38-32 at the last 2 minutes of the quarter, then Moerman scored a three-pointer and set the score of the first half: 41-37.
Starting the second half with Micic and Beaubois’s points, our team was 47-45 ahead at the 23rd minute. Singleton’s underneath points were followed by Dunston’s fancy dunk and our team was 51-47 ahead of the 25th minute. Singleton scored 2 and Larkin scored 3 points at the 29th minute and our team was 60-52 ahead. Singleton and Beaubois’s underneath points set the score of the third quarter: 64-56. Starting the final quarter with Beaubois and Micic’s points, our team was 73-64 ahead at the 32nd minute. Micic’s three-pointer at 34:30 set the score to 76-61, then Larkin grabbed the defensive rebound and scored, our team was 78-71 ahead at the 35th minute. Singleton’s layup was followed by Beaubois and Buğrahan’s points from the free-throw line at 36:30 and our team was 84-71 ahead. Beaubois scored 1 and Micic scored 2 three-pointers at the 39th minute and the score difference went up to 20 points: 93-73. Beaubois’s baskets at the last minute set the score of the match and our team won: 95-73.
