“From the jumpball I think with the way we started game, we paid the price. 31 points in the first-quarter, this is the first time this happened at any level. That's not how we play. I see our our team as a lead defensive team and if you allow 31 points in the first quarter, didn't feel us at all. It was just a walkthrough for Partizan, they were getting the paint so easy with no resistance, there's no weak side help. And that's not how we practiced, that's not how we play. I think we played without confidence I don't know what's the reason, but we have to play with more courage especially at this kind of atmosphere. And it's not even a technical thing. We gave too many offensive rebounds. 15 offensive rebounds totally in the game and I think 10 offensive rebounds in the middle of the second quarter. So if you send the game in that direction, it's hard to recover. We continued fighting, we searched for a lineup, we searched for somebody who could give us presents around the basket to fix the rebounding. Euroleague is a big boys league. If you don't play hard, this is gonna happen. First half showed what can happen if you don't play hard. In crunch time, we have to play smart. There was a couple mistakes that I made. We had an open look to tie the game. Little things... But we have to learn from this. I congratulate Partizan for being better team overall and they absolutely deserved to win this game.”
