Defeated by Darüşşafaka Doğuş 88-85 at the 27th-week postponement game of Spor Toto Basketbol Super League, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:
“It was an important game for both teams. As because both teams are fighting for the best position in play-offs. It was especially very important for us because we have lost the last game against Fenerbahçe and a tough game was ahead for us. We played very well in the first half and our shoot percentage was very well. We have started the second half bad unfortunately and we couldn’t continue our high shoot percentage. Darüşşafaka Doğuş held the advantage and even though we continued to fight, the match was ended with Darüşşafaka Doğuş’s lead.”
Anadolu Efes’s successful player Cedi Osman also stated his thoughts as: “Today we have had a good match. We played better in the first half. Though we only shot 28 points in the second half. We have had many blank shots. Darüşşafaka Doğuş evaluated the opportunity better, lead the score and had the victory. We played better than Fenerbahçe match today. We needed to play better. Darüşşafaka Doğuş is a good and tough rival. I think we played a good basketball. Now we have Beşiktaş Sompo Japan match ahead of us. We would like to win that match and finish the normal duration as the second team of the league.”
