We hosted Manisa Büyükşehir Belediye Spor in the 23rd-week match of the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League and we won the fight 78-69. We finished the first half of the match, played at the Sinan Erdem Dome, behind 38-41.
While our team went to the match with Micic, Beaubois, Egehan, M’Baye, and Pleiss starting five, our first basket in the match came from M’Baye. Our team, which passed silently in the first half of the quarter, was behind 2-12 in the fifth minute, and we brought the score to 7-12 in the sixth minute with Larkin's three-pointer and Pleiss's basket, which were included in the game in this section. We scored with Beaubois and Clyburn in the remaining part, and we were behind 14-20 in the first 10 minutes of the game. We started the second period with Clyburn's three-pointer and the score was 17-20 in the 11th minute. Following M'Baye's points, we brought the score to 28-31 in the 15th minute with three-pointers each from Pleiss and Larkin. In the last part of the half, Micic scored eight points in a row, and we finished the first half of the game behind 38-41 after Furkan's under-the-rim hit.
While our first basket in the second half was from Micic, we balanced the score at 21:30 with Larkin's three-pointer: 43-43. We took the lead for the first time in the 23rd minute with Beaubois' three points in the basketball foul position: 46-45. With the points of Micic and Beaubois, we entered the 26th minute with the score 53-53, and after Clyburn and Micic's two hits on the foul line, we entered the last minute of the third period 57-59 behind. In the last second of the quarter, we were ahead 60-59 in the last 10 minutes of the game with three points from M'Baye. We started the final period with M'Baye's basket and the 32nd minute was entered with a tie of 62-62. With Larkin's layup, our team took the lead 64-62 in the 33rd minute, and Ergin Ataman took a time-out when the score was 64-67 in the next minute. On the return from the time-out, we took the lead 69-67 in the 35th minute with five points from Micic. With a three-pointer from Clyburn, we brought the score to 72-67 in the 36th minute. After the points of Micic and Pleiss, we were ahead 76-69 in the last two minutes of the game. We maintained our superiority in the remaining division and after Clyburn's two points, we won the match 78-69.
