In the 15th week of the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League, we visited Onvo Büyükçekmece Basketbol and came away with an 87-85 victory. The game was played at Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall, where we also finished the first half ahead 50-38.Our team started the game with the lineup of Lee, Loyd, David, Ercan and Dessert. Our first point came from Ercan at the free-throw line. David and Loyd both made a fast start and with David scoring 12 points and Loyd adding eight, we led 21-13 by the seventh minute. Ercan’s reverse layup extended the lead into double digits in the eighth minute: 23-13. In the remaining two minutes, we scored with a spectacular dunk by Jones and two three-pointers by Swider, finishing the opening 10 minutes ahead 31-18. We opened the second quarter with a single free throw by Lee and the score stood at 32-21 in the 12th minute. Following Swider’s lone free throw, three-pointers from Şehmus and Beaubois helped us take a 39-25 lead by the 15th minute. Seven points from Ercan gave us a 46-33 advantage in the 17th minute. In the last part of the half, we converted two inside baskets with Dessert and went into halftime leading 50-38.

Early in the second half, we scored one point with Dessert and two with Loyd, taking a 53-40 lead by the 21st minute. With points from Ercan and Lee and Loyd knocking down three shots from beyond the arc, we extended the lead to 66-50 in the 26th minute. Over the final four minutes of the third quarter, Lee added four points and we entered the last 10 minutes ahead 70-65. We started the final period with two points from Loyd to lead 72-67 in the 31st minute. Free throws by Weiler-Babb and Loyd, along with inside baskets from Dessert and Lee, pushed the score to 80-75 in the 37th minute. Lee then hit back-to-back three-pointers to give us an 86-83 advantage with 30 seconds remaining. In the closing moments, Erkan made one free throw and we secured an 87-85 victory.
