As part of our transfer efforts ahead of the 2026-2027 season, we have reached an agreement with Daron Russell.

Russell began his professional career with Mornar Bar in the 2022-23 season, claiming both the scoring and assists titles in the ABA League that same season with averages of 26.8 points and 7.3 assists, while also setting the league's single-game scoring record with a 47-point performance against Zadar. The point guard arrived in Turkey in 2023, going on to wear the jerseys of Galatasaray MCT Technic, Manisa BB, and Karşıyaka.

Last season, Russell won the Romanian League, Romanian Cup, and Romanian Super Cup titles with U-BT Cluj-Napoca, was named Finals MVP of the Romanian League, and capped off the year by claiming the 2025-26 EuroCup scoring title and a spot on the All-EuroCup Second Team.

Averaging 19.8 points, 6.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in EuroCup play last season, we welcome Russell to our family and wish him a successful season ahead!
