We hosted Aliağa Petkim Spor in the 25th-week match of the ING Basketball Super League and won the match 97-83. We finished the first half of the match, which was played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, 54-55 behind.
Starting the game with Larkin, Erten, Simon, Moerman, and Dunston starting five, our team got the first basket of the game with Simon's three-point field goal. While five minutes of the first quarter passed with mutual three-pointers, during this time we got two three-pointers from Larkin and one three-pointer from Erten. Erten also turned Dunston’s good pass into an assist with a dunk and carried the score to 16-16. We scored with the Moerman and Egemen in the rest of the quarter and the first quarter ended with the lead of the guest team 26-27. As the second period started with Yiğitcan's field goal, Elijah and Buğrahan's free throws allowed us to keep the score at the same level. 11 points scored by Beaubois in the middle of the quarter brought the score to 45-44. We closed the first half 54-55 behind with Elijah's three-pointer.
We started the second half with Dunston's four points. Beaubois, who completed the ball with a layup in the fast attack, started our 11-0 run. During this section, Simon, Larkin, and Moerman scored points, while Buğrahan's point from the free throw line due to a technical foul determined the score of the quarter: 74-67. The first points of the last period came with Buğrahan's numbers. Yiğitcan ended his attacks with stylish layups and increased the lead to double digits: 84-72. In the last minutes of the match, Simon's three-pointer, Beaubois' fast-break layup, and Erten's mid-range shot determined the score of the match: 97-83
