Returning from Panathinaikos Athens in the 26th week of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with an 87-82 away win, Anadolu Efes Head Coach Ergin Ataman shared his views after the game:
"It was a strange match. It is not easy to play such a match after the great disasters in the two countries. About 50 thousand of our citizens lost their lives in the earthquakes that took place in our country three weeks ago. There was a tragic accident in Greece yesterday. The Euroleague decided to play this match. It was a very important game for qualifying. We didn't start the game very well but it was important for Larkin and Clyburn to find their own way to score, especially at the end of the first half. A great game we played in the third quarter and our defense was the key to the match. We shared the ball well and controlled the game. Everyone fought well. We were good on rebounds and assists. Clyburn played like a champion, a star, and Larkin, our only point guard, had 10 assists and was in control of the game. It was a very important win for us..."
