“It was an important week for us. We played with a serious effort in our previous Euroleague match, so our players who play in that match didn’t play in this one. Our foreign players didn’t play tonight as well. We’ve chosen to play with our young players and the players those need to play such as Pleiss. Pleiss didn’t play for the last 2 months because of his injury. We wanted him to gain back his match tempo. The Fethiye team has issues, they’re trying to stay in the league, but the match wasn’t either of ours target. This week is Euroleague double week. We will play against first Valencia, an important match, then CSKA Moscow. We are in a good shape, but we have to show this performance next week as well. We will start preparations tomorrow.”
