Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman, who beat Real Madrid 58-57 and won the Turkish Airlines Euroleague championship two times in a row, shared his views after the game as follows:
"It's incredible. I don't want to talk too much about the game in such situations. First of all, I'm proud of my players. They wrote the history of our club, our country, and European basketball. It's a great victory for us. I want to thank the Euroleague organization and the city of Belgrade. They organized a great venue. I must also thank our fans, they supported us wonderfully today. We should not forget the Olympiacos fans, maybe their team did not win the match, but they showed their feelings on the field, and they created a great atmosphere. I congratulate Real Madrid, they played a good game, but I must say, in such situations, we have players who know how to play the last 2-3 minutes well. Offensive strategies usually don't work in the finals, but thanks to my players, we first solved our rebound problem and then found a way to win the game."
