Having a shoulder injury at our fourth-week match against Darüşşafaka Doğuş last week at Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Jayson Granger did not play in the game.

Starting the match with Heurtel, Cotton, Cedi, Brown and Dunston, Anadolu Efes got the first field goal of the match by Cotton. Scoring in the paint in the first minutes with Dunston, Efes received subsequent contribution by Cedi and Heurtel, leading 12-10 at the TV timeout in the fifth minute. Starting the second half with Brown’s layup, Efes increased the lead to 11 points with Honeycutt’s slam dunk in the 22nd minute: 52-41. Ahead 55-44 at 23:30 with Cotton’s three-pointer, Efes had a slam dunk by Dunston, forcing the opponent to call a timeout in the 24th minute: 57-46. Maintaining the margin after the timeout, Efes had two points by Heurtel and three points each by Cedi and Cotton, leading by 15 points while heading into the final quarter: 65-50. Ahead 71-58 past the 33rd minute in the final quarter with Furkan and Heurtel’s three-pointers, Efes scored a fast-break slam dunk by Furkan at 33.20, forcing the opponent to call a timeout: 73-58. Reaching 75 points with Brown after the timeout, Efes coach Perasovic called a timeout with 3:40 minutes left to play as the score was 75-69. Leading 77-69 after the timeout with Brown, Anadolu Efes had scoring by Heurtel and Honeycutt in the last 2:40 minutes of the match, leaving the court victorious 86-73.
