Starting the second quarter with Savanovic’s points, the team was up 18-24 in the 12th minute. Increasing the lead to nine points with Gordon and Birkan’s points, the team made the score 22-31 at 15.30. Birkan and Cedi’s points followed by Gordon’s layup helped Anadolu Efes towards a halftime score of 31-38.

Prior to the match between Tofaş and Anadolu Efes, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Gendarme Organization.
Before the match, officers from Bursa Gendarme Organization and a child dressed as a gendarme gifted flowers to Planinic, while other players were gifted gendarme hats.
