Having sprained his ankle at the Turkish Airlines Euroleague match against Barcelona Lassa, Cedi Osman did not play in the match.
Starting the match with Heurtel, Granger, Honeycutt, Brown and Dunston, Anadolu Efes got the first field goal of the match by Honeycutt. Thanks to six points each by Dunston and Granger within the first minutes of the match, our opponent called a timeout at 3:30: 14-4. With Heurtel’s four points after the timeout, Efes had a slam dunk by Brown and was in the lead 20-9 past the sixth minute. Getting four points by Dunston and two points by Thomas in the remaining duration, Anadolu Efes finished the first 10 minutes ahead 26-19. With Brown’s four points and Honeycutt’s spectacular slam dunk, the score was 65-39 at 24.30. As Granger and Thomas’s points were supported by Samet and Furkan, Anadolu Efes was leading 79-51 at the end of the third quarter. Reaching 80 points with Granger from the free throw line, Efes was ahead 86-60 past the 35th minute with Furkan and Thomas’s three-point field goals. Keeping ahead in the remaining duration, Anadolu Efes got points by Doğuş, Furkan and Oğulcan, and left the court victorious 96-70.
