
Our starting five were Dozier, Erkan, Cordinier, Dessert, and Ercan and we scored our first basket with Dozier on the opening possession. With points from Dessert and Ercan in the paint and a three-pointer from Loyd, we took a 15-4 lead by the fifth minute. In the second five minutes of the quarter, Jones and Şehmus scored their first points of the game and we finished the first 10 minutes ahead 25-15. We opened the second period with four points from Loyd, making it 29-15 in the 11th minute. After a basket inside from Dessert and nine consecutive points from Swider, the score was 40-17 in the 14th minute, prompting a timeout from the visiting team. Following the timeout, David Mutaf scored his first points of the game with a three-pointer in the 15th minute: 43-20. With points from Şehmus and Loyd, we maintained our lead and Cordinier’s one succesful free throw in the final seconds of the half set the halftime score at 55-34.
We started the second half with points from Dozier and Ercan, leading 63-37 by the 22nd minute. After consecutive scores from Cordinier, we extended our advantage to 73-40 by the 24th minute. Swider and Şehmus added three-pointers to increase the margin and we entered the final quarter up 89-51. In the first minute of the fourth quarter Erkan and Mutaf each made a free throw, bringing the score to 91-56 in the 32nd minute. After a three-pointer from Şehmus, Burakcan made a spectacular dunk for his first points of the game: 96-63. In the remaining minutes we continued to score with Jones, David Mutaf and Swider and won the game 104-72.
