Our team started the game with the lineup of Weiler-Babb, Dozier, David, Ercan and Dessert. With points from Dozier and Ercan, the first five minutes were played with a 7-7 tie. With Jones’ basket in the paint, the score became 9-14 in the seventh minute, but in the remaining part of the quarter we scored consecutive baskets with Weiler-Babb and closed the first 10 minutes trailing 21-17. We opened the second period with points from Lee and Weiler-Babb and the score became 21-26 in the 13th minute. With baskets from Ercan and Swider, we brought the score to 29-32 in the 15th minute. When the score reached 29-38 at 16:30, our head coach Pablo Laso called a timeout. After the timeout, with points from Şehmus and Weiler-Babb, we entered the 18th minute trailing 44-37. In the remaining two minutes, Swider scored five points and we went into halftime trailing 48-40.

In the second half, our first points came from beyond the three-point line by Dozier and we entered the 21st minute trailing 50-43. Increasing our defensive intensity in this part, we scored with Dessert and Şehmus to make it 52-55 in the 25th minute. Following a layup by Weiler-Babb and a three-pointer from Swider, we took the lead for the first time in the game in the 26th minute: 58-57. With points from Weiler-Babb and Şehmus, we entered the 28th minute leading 63-60, but we failed to score in the final two minutes of the quarter and headed into the last 10 minutes with a narrow 63-62 lead. We started the final period with a three-pointer by Lee and the score was tied at 66-66 in the 32nd minute. With baskets in the paint by Şehmus and Jones, we led 70-68 in the 34th minute. After four points from Lee and a three-pointer by Swider, the score became 77-78 in the 37th minute. Although we scored one point with Dozier and two with Jones in the remaining time, we could not regain the lead and lost the game 87-80.
