“First of all, I would like to congratulate Real Madrid on their win. We got off to a really good start, but we knew how Real Madrid can turn things around because of the talent they have. We made some defensive mistakes and their offensive rebounds gave them second chances that allowed them to shift the momentum. That lead at halftime proved decisive in the game. I think we competed well in the third and fourth quarters, but we never truly felt like we could come back because of losing rebounds and missing some shots and there was always a feeling that they had the lead. We have to move on quickly because we have a Turkish League game coming up soon.”
