Our team started the game with the lineup of Loyd, Weiler-Babb, Dozier, Ercan and Smits. Our first basket came from Dozier and the second minute was passed with a 2-2 tie. Loyd and Weiler-Babb also contributed early and the sixth minute ended at 12-12. We hit a three-pointer with Dozier in our final possession of the quarter and trailed 19-15 at the end of the first 10 minutes. We began the second quarter with a three-pointer by Ercan, making it 18-22 at the 12th minute. With three-pointers from Beaubois and Weiler-Babb, the score became 24-28 at 14:30 and Smits cut the deficit to two with a layup in the 15th minute 28-30. In the second five-minute stretch of the quarter, we scored four points with Dozier and went into halftime trailing 42-30.

We started the second half with eight points from Ercan, entering the 24th minute at 38-48. Following Smits’ layup, Ercan added another basket to make it 42-51 in the 25th minute. Şehmus, who checked into the game during this stretch, also contributed to the score and in the final two minutes of the quarter, Ercan scored four and Cordinier added two and we entered the last 10 minutes trailing 57-54. We opened the final period with one made free throw each from Lee and Ercan, making it 56-61 in the 32nd minute. After points from Jones, Cordinier knocked down a three to bring the score to 65-70 in the 36th minute. Although we scored through Şehmus and Weiler-Babb in the remaining four minutes, we couldn’t take the lead and lost the game 78-71.
