
We have signed French point guard Matthew Strazel to a 2+1 season contract.
As part of our transfer activities ahead of the 2026–2027 season, we reached an agreement with Matthew Strazel, who played for AS Monaco over the last four seasons and is also a member of the French National Team.
Strazel signed his first professional contract with LDLC Asvel in 2019 at age 16 and has played in the EuroLeague for seven seasons. In his club career he has won 5 French League championships, 2 French Cup titles, and 1 French Super Cup title. The young player also finished as EuroLeague runner-up with AS Monaco in 2025.
Strazel, who won a silver medal with the French National Team at the 2024 Olympic Games, averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 11 PIR last season in the EuroLeague.
