The candidate players of the Turkish National Team for the 2019 FIBA World Championship elimination match against Slovenia that will be played in Ankara on 14th September and an away game on 17th September has been announced.
Federation of Turkish Basketball announced the squad that will be joining the National Team and according to the list our team captain Doğuş Balbay, our new transfer James Metecan Birsen, Sertaç Şanlı and Ahmet Buğrahan Tuncer received an invitation.
The National Team will start to train on 13th August for the matches against Montenegro and Slovenia that will go on throughout September and to be able to join the championship that will be held in China from 31st August and 15th September.
The National Team will go to Slovenia on 19th August for the second phase of the preparations, then the preparations will continue from 30th August and onwards in Istanbul. The National Team will play against Czechia, Italy, and Germany for a special tournament in between the dates of 7-8 September then will end the preparations with the training camp that will be held Ankara on 10-13 September.
