
Our team started the game with the lineup of Loyd, Dozier, Erken, Ercan and Dessert. Our first basket came from Dozier and we led 3-2 after the opening minute. With points from Dessert and Erkan, the fifth minute was tied at 14-14. In the second five-minute stretch of the quarter, contributions from Weiler-Babb and Şehmus helped us finish the first 10 minutes ahead 24-20. We opened the second quarter with points from Şehmus and Beaubois, entering the 13th minute with a 33-24 advantage. Jones and Loyd added to the score in this period and by the 17th minute we extended the lead to 45-33. Following baskets from Smits and Loyd, we closed the first half leading 51-33.
In the second half, our first points came from Ercan and Loyd, making it 56-41 in the 23rd minute. After a layup by Ercan, back-to-back baskets from Dozier gave us a 62-43 lead by the 26th minute. In the final minute of the quarter, Jones scored with a spectacular dunk and we entered the last 10 minutes leading 64-54. At the start of the final period, when the score was cut to 64-59 in the first two minutes, coach Pablo Laso called a timeout. After the timeout, our first basket of the quarter came from Şehmus: 66-59. Following five points from Loyd and a three-pointer by Beaubois, the score reached 74-61 in the 34th minute. With six more points from Şehmus, we entered the 37th minute ahead 80-66 and with an additional five-point contribution from Beaubois in the closing stretch, we secured an 85-69 victory.
