The starting five of our team was Larkin, Weiler-Babb, Cordinier, Ercan and Jones, and the first basket came from Cordinier. With points from Larkin and Jones, we trailed 11-8 in the fifth minute. At this stage, Ercan scored 10 consecutive points to tie the game at 18-18 in the ninth minute. In the final minute of the quarter, Larkin and Weiler-Babb each scored twice from the foul line, and we closed the first 10 minutes ahead 22-20. We started the second quarter with points from Loyd and Cordinier, leading 32-25 by the 14th minute. After Weiler-Babb extended the score to 38-29 in the 17th minute, we continued to score through Loyd and Larkin in the final three minutes of the half, entering the locker room with a 46-35 lead.

We opened the second half with a stylish dunk from Jones, extending the lead to 48-35 in the 21st minute. In the following four minutes, we managed only two points through Loyd, and by the 25th minute the score was 50-52. In the next five-minute stretch of the third quarter, Loyd added eight more points, but we entered the final 10 minutes trailing 61-59. In the last quarter, our first points came from Smits and Ercan, bringing the score to 65-67 in the 33rd minute. With points from Larkin and Cordinier, our team trailed 80-71 by the 38th minute. Although we scored through Loyd and Jones in the last two minutes, we couldn’t close the gap and lost the game 87-81.
