Player Career
Shane Larkin graduated from the University of Miami in 2013 and was selected 18th overall in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. His rights were traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he began his NBA career. The American guard finished the season with the Texas Legends, the Mavericks' NBDL affiliate. In the 2014–15 season, he played for the New York Knicks, and in the 2015–16 season, he joined the Brooklyn Nets. In the 2016–17 season, Larkin took his first overseas step, joining Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz in Spain. He returned to the NBA in the 2017–18 season and played for the Boston Celtics. The following season, he joined our team.
In 2013, Shane Larkin was named to both the All-ACC First Team and the ACC All-Defensive Team, and he was also honored as the ACC Player of the Year. In 2017, he was selected to the All-ACB Second Team in the Spanish League. In his first season with our team, Larkin won the Turkish Basketball Super League championship, the Presidential Cup, and was a EuroLeague runner-up. At the beginning of the 2019–20 season, he celebrated another Presidential Cup victory. In the 2020–21 season, our successful player won the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague championship and the Turkish Basketball Super League title with our team. In the final game of the EuroLeague against FC Barcelona, Shane Larkin was named the Final MVP.
In the 2021–22 season, our star player led the team to a championship in the Turkish Cup Final Four held in Bursa and celebrated back-to-back EuroLeague titles with our team.
Shane Larkin was also selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team in the 2021–22 season.
In the 2022–23 season, Larkin added the Presidential Cup and the Turkish Basketball Super League championship to his achievements, and at the beginning of the 2024–25 season, he celebrated another Presidential Cup title.
