Perasovic: “We couldn’t play the game we wanted in the last period...”

Defeating Muratbey Uşak 80-78 at the 19th week match of Spor Toto Basketbol Super League, Anadolu Efes head coach Velimir Perasovic stated his thoughts at the post-game press conference:

“We played well in the first period of the match. We couldn’t play the way we wanted to in the last period. We have stressed out at the final. We have had some disadvantages in the free-throw positions. The rival team went to the free-throw line more than us. There were reasons in some positions, and there weren’t in others. This was important. We played more aggressive at the beginning of the match actually…”

Anadolu Efes’s successful player Cedi Osman also stated his thoughts: “We knew that it was going to be a hard game today. We usually have concentration issues when we play a tough and away game after returning from Euroleague. We must solve this. We gained an important victory. We gained two important victories before going to Kazan game, also Baskonia victory was very important, precious, and well-played match also. We played very well especially in the first period. We have had concentration issues in the second period. Thus, we won and happy for the victory. I wish Muratbey Uşak success.”
