Hosting the Fenerbahçe Beko team in the third Play-Off final match of ING Basketball Super League, Anadolu Efes won the game 93-66. Anadolu Efes was 44-32 ahead at the half-time of the match that was played in Ülker Sports and Events Hall.
After this result, we brought the situation to 3-0 in the series and became the ING Basketball Super League 2020-2021 season champion.
Starting the match with Micic, Beaubois, Buğrahan, Moerman, and Sertaç, Anadolu Efes’s first points were scored by Sertaç. Micic and Moerman’s baskets set the score table to 9-3 at the 3rd minute. Beaubois scored 2 three-pointers, then Sertaç scored underneath twice and our team was 19-11 ahead at 5:30. When the rival team set the score table to 19-23 at the 8th-minute coach Ergin Ataman called a time-out. Returning from it, Beaubois scored another basket and our team was trailing 21-25 at the end of the first quarter. Starting the second quarter with Dunston and Singleton’s baskets, our team was trailing 25-29 at the 12th minute. Larkin was injured and he couldn’t continue to play. Beaubois and Micic scored three-pointers and the score was a tie at the 16th minute: 31-31. Dunston scored a dunk at 16:30 and our team was 33-31 leading the score table. Singleton and captain Doğuş’s points at the 18th minute set the score table to 37-31, in the remaining 2-minute duration Buğrahan scored 1, Dunston, Singleton, and Micic scored 2 points and our team was 44-31 ahead at the end of the first half.
Starting the second half with Singleton and Beaubois duo’s points and Anadolu Efes raised the score difference to 20 points at 22:30: 52-32. Returning from the rival tea’s time-out Beaubois scored another three-pointer and set the score table to 54-33 at 23:30. Sertaç’s fancy dunk was followed by Beaubois and Micic’s three-pointers and our team was 62-36 ahead at the 26th minute. Beaubois, Buğrahan, and Doğuş scored and set the score difference to 25 at the end of the third quarter: 72-47. Starting the final quarter with Beaubois’s basket, our team was 76-59 ahead at the 24th minute. Tolga and Buğrahan scored at the 37th minute and set the score table to 81-59. Buğrahan scored 1 point from the free-throw line and raised the score difference to 20 points at the last 2:45 minutes of the match: 82-62. In the remaining duration, Yiğitcan and Buğrahan scored and our team won the match with a score of 93-66.
The MVP of the ING Basketball Super League Final series was Rodrigue Beaubois, who finished the series with 22.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists averages.
