
Our team started the game with Weiler-Babb, Dozier, Cordinier, Ercan, and Jones. Our first points came from Ercan and Cordinier. After trailing 13-4 in the third minute, baskets by Cordinier and Larkin brought the score to 16-21 by the seventh minute. Following points from Weiler-Babb and Ercan, we finished the first 10 minutes behind 31-24. We opened the second quarter with a three-pointer from Swider, making it 27-34 in the 11th minute. During this part, Larkin and Weiler-Babb scored from the free-throw line, and we trailed 47-35 in the 15th minute. In the latter part of the quarter, Cordinier also contributed offensively, and we went into halftime trailing 55-43.
We started the second half with points from Ercan and Weiler-Babb, entering the 22nd minute down by 56-48. With Cordinier’s accurate free throws and three-pointers from Larkin and Ercan, the score was 65-58 in the 26th minute. By tightening our defense and bringing Smits and Dozier into the scoring rhythm, we lowered the difference to two points and entered the final quarter trailing 71-69. In the last period, after four points from Ercan, a three-pointer from Loyd gave our team the lead for the first time in the 33rd minute: 76-75. Following Cordinier’s layup, we entered the 37th minute behind 82-78. Although we scored through Ercan and Larkin in the final minutes, we couldn’t close the gap and lost the game by 93-87.
