Hosting the Greek Olympiacos team in the 11th-week match of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and winning the match 82-71, Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman shared his views at the press conference held after the match:
“We achieved a very important victory. We didn't start the game well, we lost control of the game with turnovers. However, we defended well in the first half of the game. Before the second half, we talked about the need to pick up our aggression in the dressing room and we increased our aggression in defense. We turned our attacks into half-court attacks. We took more control of the game, we were better on the half-court offense. We had good shots in off-the-ball runs, and we also got good contributions from Will Clyburn and Vasilije Micić. We gained confidence and achieved victory. I also think we got good input from Isaiah Taylor on defense. We achieved a very important victory without Amath M'Baye, whom we removed from the squad before the match.”
