Following Anadolu Efes's 80-78 defeat to AS Monaco at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in the 23rd week of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, head coach Erdem Can shared his post-match thoughts:
"It was a heartbreaking defeat for us. We know that every match is a final for us. In the second half of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter, the decisions we made on offense and the rebounds we allowed on defense disrupted our rhythm. Numerous easy turnovers also contributed to our loss. We tried to come back throughout the last quarter. We missed a very important opportunity, but I say it again, every game, this one or the next, is a final for us. We need to forget this game and focus on the next one."
